Volunteer for Spring Into STEM™ science outreach event for middle school girls

GWIS is collaborating with Young Women in Bio RTP (Young WIB) and NC State’s Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC) to host Spring Into STEM™: Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Scientists. This is a science outreach event for middle school girls that will be held at BTEC on April 28, 2018 from 1 – 5 PM.

We need volunteers to help the students do experiments and activities in chemistry, physics, ecology, epidemiology, and molecular biology! Volunteers will help the students with the activities, help the students network, and help set up and clean up the activities. Volunteer will be needed from 12 – 6 PM on April 28.

Click here to sign up to volunteer and we will contact you with additional information. Sign-up ends March 31, but volunteer spots are limited. Sign up early to guarantee a spot.
