CLOSED: Volunteer for 2019 Spring into STEM™: Science outreach for middle school girls!

We are excited to announce our continued collaboration with Young Women in Bio RTP (Young WIB) and Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE) at North Carolina Central University to host the 2019 Spring Into STEM™: Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Scientists. This is a science outreach event for middle school girls that will be held at BRITE on Saturday, April 27 from 9am – 12 noon.

Last year’s Spring Into STEM™ was a very successful and fun event for the attendees and volunteers. You can read about it here

We need volunteers to help the students do experiments and activities in chemistry, physics, polymer engineering, and entomology! Volunteers will help the students with the activities, help the students network, and help set up and clean up the activities. Volunteer will be needed from 8 AM – 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
